Be
forewarned -- traditional bowhunting is a disease that eats you from the inside out. Once bitten, there is no turning back.
When I began shooting a recurve almost 20 years ago I knew no one to ask and consequently was on my own. I gathered what information I could through books and began my journey. That first year I had a very difficult time finding even the most basic equipment, let alone quality bows. Today my life revolves around traditional archery and bowhunting with traditional equipment. I have helped hundreds of people get off to a good start. This column will begin with the basics and progress to every aspect of traditional archery. It should give you a solid base to start you out right. |
